English Class Portfolio Reflection

This was written in about one night, with a little editing the next day. I totally sucked up, because I know my teacher, and I know I'm going to pass with this essay. I hope you find it humerus and educational.
My expectations for this class before the school year started were that I was going to read a few books and write some essays. The course met and challenged my expectations. I remember my first essay “The theme Of Mice and Men” I got a 79. I was so shocked, I consider myself to be a good writer, and I'm passionate about it, until 9th grade I aced every essay with out putting in a lot of effort. The same was true about tests, It drove my mother nuts, but I never had to study and still got an A every time. The very first test of the class I got a 60/104. The most useful thing I learned this year was how to structure a thesis. Allow me to show off what I've learned, I can now successfully write an argument essay, analysis the deeper meaning of text, and lead a class presentation.

The Reason School Should Start Later

I'm not going to tell you school should start later because kids need more sleep, and that lack of sleep isn't healthy. No I'm not going to tell you that, because I'm not a doctor. I'm  going to tell you that schools should start later to keep kids off the street.

They tell us the reason we go to school is to get an education, this is partially a lie. You're parents could theoretically teach you everything. In this day of age with technology etc, you can do online school. So seriously why do we go to school?

Why We Should Not Read Shakespeare In School

Hi this was another assignment for school. I personally think its pretty good. My teacher liked it, she told me it was at the top of her pile for the hour and she was so excited to read it and that it lived up to expectations. I hope you all enjoy.
William Shakespeare was without a doubt a gifted and talented writer.
His play Romeo
and Juliet is a non realistic tragedy which at times seems like a comedy or
true love story; were a 13 year old girl and a young man fall in love, get

Procrastinators Unite....Tommorow

Ya, my school load has finally caught en up to me, a procrastinator. To get off topic for a second I'm thinking of starting a procrastinators unite club. I got the idea when one of my friends sent me this amazing picture;  What would we do in this club? Well even though its not official yet, me and some friends have already begun saying we'll sign up as a club...tommorow. No seriously. I have no idea what kind of stuff we would do. This is imported from an old blog, my friends and I decided not to make the club because we didn't think our principal would appreciate it. Maybe sometime in the future.

How To Not Be Busy

In life there are lots of things to do. Having a lot of things to do is called being busy. Being busy can take up a lot of time and energy. Good friends can become offended when you never have time to talk to them. I try to make sure I'm never to busy, so that I don't ignore anyone.

It’s not easy, because I myself have a very busy schedule:
6:00 AM: Wake up, daven, get dress,
Breakfast, go to school
7:40 AM: School
2:30 PM: Study Hall
3:45ish PM: Basketball practice
5:30-6:00 PM: Get home
After getting home my schedule varies on the times and order of events but consists of; dinner, homework, the computer, talking on the phone, gmail, texting, and now blogging.

Spanish

(This post was imported from one of my old blogs and has bad quality writing/spelling/grammar. Please excuse the amateurism.) So basically I signed up grudgingly for Spanish at the end of last school year. Why? to get my language credit out of the way. So i walk into my Spanish class an I'm like crap, this is the worst class i have ever seen. So i start plotting for ways out.

Simple i think, I'll go down to the guidance counselor and explain i wanna take ac. I go to my counselor, aka the scariest women i met in my first week of school. She was like hell no your not switching.
I go to class meet some pretty funny/annoying people who i guess are OK, an an like OK I'll stick with Spanish. AH but then, my teacher he has a terribly hard grading system. i began to fail. well I told my loving mother who called up my counselor who decided she needed to call us back at-7in the morning to tell us she emailed us!!!(hate her!)

well she tracked me down and i had exactly 4hours to switch into cooking. aka the worse class in the whole entire school. yes it beats Spanish in that category.
soooooo what i did was i now go into my Spanish class almost everyday and just chill. its great. i have an A in class, and fun during that hour.
