I want to make my Varsity soccer team. Tryouts are in the middle of March so I have around 7 weeks to perpare/train. I'm going to be blogging about what I do. Please note, this post was orignally serious but never got posted. Its now a satire piece because I've decieded there are more important things in life I want to dedicate my time to.
1.First things first as soon as I finish writing this I'm going to pump up my soccer ball. Haven't touched it in a while, and gotta start practicing.
2. I'm going to start planning a training program that I will upload on to this blog.
3. Get to work! It time to put some blood sweat and tears into my dreams.
By watching my friend practice for band I've figured out that I need to start putting like 2 hours of practice in everyday. I actually read in a book that I forget who but this one girl on the US womens team use to put in 2 hours daily with a soccer ball starting when she was like 14. If she was to tired to finish her 2 hours that day, she would set the alarm and wake up in the middle of the night and finish. Really inspirational dont you think?
Another thing I have to work on for sure is my fitness. To make sure I keep with my program and fitness I'm going to start posting my time from my house to a certain traffic light thats around a mile once a week. Hopefully I'll make my goal :)
i've always learnt that you need to excise- and if playing soccer is a way that you can be healthy and fit- not only is it following H-shem's way, but is comparable to learning
ReplyDeleteWow thanks blabla I wish I had seen ur comment earlier, I would have maybe thought about going throughout with it. Still I think true learning is more important. Plusas much as I wish I could play soccer all my life and go pro, I probably won't, I'm much more likely to become a teacher.
